CHANDLER UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTCLASSIFICATION: SUPPORT STAFFJOB TITLE: REGISTRAR (COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL)CALENDAR: 2611H (12 MONTH)SALARY: GRADE 112 (SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL HOURLY)Job GoalMaintain all student files and grade records in a timely, accurate manner, and evaluate and enter transcripts into a computerized system.Minimum Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentAbility to use a computer and maintain records in a confidential, secure mannerGood computational skillsAbility to work well with students, parents, staff, and othersAbility to type accurately at an acceptable rate of speedKnowledge of and adherence to all policies, regulations, and rulesCore Job Functions:Set up permanent record files for new and transfer students and verify for completenessMaintain and service the active, inactive, and withdrawal files for all students, including cumulative records, recording of grades, special tests, activities, and other information as requiredPull and retrieve files as requestedEnter official transcripts of new studentsSend out transcripts of students transferring to other schools or entering colleges and universitiesCompute grade point averages and class ranks of studentsInput and update information into the computerMaintain a variety of files and recordsProduce a variety of lists and reports for school use (class rank, graduation, diplomas, failure reports, proficiency scores, etc.)Perform related duties as requestedPerform all duties safely and prudently as directedPerform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the positionCore Values:Excellence in all we do.
