Part Time Pharmacist

We're looking for a part-time Pharmacist to join our team! No weekends, no evenings.Roles And ResponsibilitiesCompliant Prescription ProcessingEnsure all prescriptions dispensed meet all federal, state and local regulatory requirementsProvide constructive feedback to maintain safe and efficient prescription processing -Validate accuracy of all prescriptions and follow up on any discrepancies in the prescription filling processMaintain secure, clean and safe pharmacy/warehouse Business PlanningPlan, advise and implement immediate and long term operational plans and overall budgetsSet direction and prioritize, allocate resources, set and meet deadlines -Problem solve through issues to identify, analyze and recommend solutionsManage all aspects of the pharmacy operations CollaborateStatus regularly with manager to discuss business priorities and current operationsMaintain regular meetings with FC manager to discuss pharmacy operations within the warehouse and ways to increase efficiencyPartner with sales team and leadership to maintain open lines of communication and resolve systematic issuesCommunicate with veterinarians and office staff to build strong working relationships People ManagementEncourage the growth of all employees through skill developmentMentor staff, measure performance, and complete and/or provide input on performance reviews Resolve employee issues in an effective and consistent mannerMotivate staff to perform at their highest level and recognize their achievements -Set direction and priority, define job roles, distribute workload and set deadlines Required QualificationsBachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacyGood computer skills with various applicationsStrong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audienceAttention to detail with ability to problem solve effectivelyDemonstrated success in prioritizing and time-managementSuperior service-orientation, communication and interpersonal skills -Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and an independent, accountable, dependent performer Current state Board of Pharmacy license with the ability to obtain reciprocal licenses in other states Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English Preferred QualificationsMinimum 2 years of pharmacy experienceBackground in veterinary pharmacyPhysical Demands Must be able to move product weighing up to 50 pounds onto conveyor belt up to 10 times per hour. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 percent of the timeMust be able to operate a keyboard and other machinery as necessaryThis position requires occasional or frequent moderate physical activityEnvironmental FactorsThis position requires low exposure to extreme hot/cold temperatures, high voltage, dirt or dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, hazardous chemicals and hazardous machinery. Working environment is a typical warehouse environment. Travel and On-CallThis position requires travel only for reciprocity licensing where required
