Getting that right across organizations and teams is not trivial. It requires understanding of their goals, interpreting their data, and designing precise metrics so classifications stay consistent and meaningful.\r\nWe're looking for a Forward Deployed Data Analyst to own this configuration work. You will define and validate productivity, economics, and workflow definitions, and make sure new teams get accurate, useful analytics from day one.\r\nWhat you'll do\r\nPartner with clients to understand their goals and translate them into a clear implementation plan within Reflow.\r\nOwn setup, configuration, and implementation for new customers, and help them reach value quickly.\r\nEnsure customers continue to get value after onboarding by refining configurations, metrics, and reporting.\r\nWork closely with Product and Engineering to identify improvement opportunities and help shape the product roadmap.\r\nContinuously improve implementation and analytics processes to reduce time to value.\r\nDesign, validate, and iterate on Reflow data models so metrics and reports remain accurate, useful, and meaningful.\r\nQuery and analyze anonymized, aggregated data to improve data design and identify gaps, conflicts, or inconsistencies.\r\nPartner with Customer Success and Product to define how organizations and teams measure their work, then translate that into reliable business intelligence.\r\nWho you are\r\nStrong SQL and database skills, and you use data to drive and validate configuration decisions.\r\nRigorous and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on correctness, edge cases, and avoiding conflicts or overlap in data.\r\nExcellent at translating business intent into clear, testable logic and rules.\r\nComfortable going deep when data models, metrics, or implementation logic become complex.\r\nStrong communication skills, especially in client-facing conversations.\r\nExperience in client-facing roles, ideally in implementation, analytics, solutions, or customer success.\r\nBonus points\r\nExperience with business intelligence and turning raw, noisy data into clear and actionable metrics.\r\nFamiliarity with writing efficient regex-based queries for analytics workflows.\r\nExperience configuring or implementing software for new customers or teams.\r\nWhy join\r\nYou will own the link between how teams think about work and what the platform actually measures.\r\nYour work will directly shape the accuracy and usefulness of our analytics for every new team.\r\nThis role is a strong fit if you like turning real-world activity data into clear, consistent structure that customers and product teams rely on.\r\nWe're open to starting part-time\r\nIf you want to own configuration quality and make new teams successful from day one, you'll fit right in.\r\nCompensation\r\nWe offer competitive pay based on the market and where you're located.
