Litigation Technologist

Pay: $33.63 - $38.72 per hourArdelle Associates is seeking a Litigation Technologist to support the US Attorney's office in Salt Lake, Utah.Selected applicant shall provide comprehensive litigation and technical support for complex, data-intensive Affirmative Civil Enforcement (ACE) matters, focusing on discovery processing, case review platform administration, and advanced paralegal duties. Working closely with USAO Automated Litigation Support (ALS) staff, shall manage the full lifecycle of Electronically Stored Information (ESI)—including collection, tracking, processing, and production— while ensuring adherence to standard protocols for imaging and metadata extraction. Key responsibilities include the administration of document review databases (e.g., Relativity and Eclipse), conducting legal research via LexisNexis/ Westlaw, and supporting ACE attorneys in the analysis of referrals, pleadings, and complex electronic records.DutiesDrafting legal documents, summarizing reports, tracking court deadlines, and coordinating pretrial witness activities. Demonstrate mastery of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional, coupled with the professional communication skills necessary to handle substantive inquiries and collaborate effectively across all staff levels to meet rigorous litigation deadlinesShall provide high-level technical and administrative support for the USAO’s litigation lifecycle.Qualification3–5+ years of progressive experience in litigation support or as a paralegal in a fast-paced legal environment. Education/Certification: A Bachelor’s degree or Certified Paralegal (CP) credential is preferred. Legal Expertise:Advanced knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and the end-to-end litigation lifecycle.Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and litigation support software. Analytical Skills:Proven ability to analyze complex datasets, manage voluminous case files, and maintain rigorous organizational standards.
