Job Description:DSP Hardware Architecture and DesignThis position requires you to have experience with Tensilica. Tensilica must be on your resume along with a detailed description of your role in working with Tensilica prior to you applying. No exceptions. Willing to consider someone who has DSP architect experience with a different DSP so long as you have already at least worked with Tensilica in some capacity, also willing to consider someone who has done lots of Tensilica configuration but has not yet been given the full ownership of its architecture, this might be your chance. So please review and update, if necessary, before applying...ResponsibilitiesWork with Product Hardware and Software Architecture teams to define the DSP Hardware architecture requirementsDefine Tensilica DSP configuration and generate RTL.Work with Design and Verification teams on the IP integrationDesign optimized TIE floating point modules and TIE operations for Tensilica DSP.Area and Energy optimizedConduct full verification (ISS and RTL) of the TIE modules and operationsDocument the usage of the developed modules and operationsMinimum QualificationsPrevious experience in Tensilica DSP and TIE designStrong knowledge of IEEE floating point specifications.Strong experience in floating-point RTL designMinimum 5 years of RTL design experiences using industry standard EDA toolsAbility to write basic C codes to conduct RTL/TIE design verificationPreferred qualificationsExperience with low power design and optimization.Experience with Firmware, DSP coding and optimizationExperience with design synthesis and timing optimization.Education/Experience:• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
