These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.\nMust be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a Material Handler, you'll be responsible for supporting inventory, material movement, shipping, receiving, and stock replenishment activities throughout the facility.\nKey Responsibilities\nLoad, unload, and transport materials within the facility and designated work areas.\nSupport shipping and receiving operations as needed.\nOpen containers and packages using hand tools.\nCount, weigh, and record inventory and material information accurately.\nLoad and unload materials from pallets, racks, trays, conveyors, and equipment.\nSort and place materials into designated Bench Stock Locations (BSL).\nPerform inventory counts and updates using a Windows-based tablet.\nMove materials using carts, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.\nStack, organize, and assemble materials for storage or distribution.\nOrder replenishment materials using handheld scanners and tablet devices.\nMaintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control processes.\nFollow established safety procedures and quality standards.\nPlease note: This is a labor-intensive position requiring standing and walking for the majority of the workday.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nU.S. Citizenship required for site access.\n2-4 years of experience with:\nOral and written communication skills in a professional environment.\nMicrosoft Office/Microsoft Suite applications.\nAbility to accurately count, track, and organize materials and inventory.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.\nAbility to work independently while following established procedures.\nAbility to perform physically demanding tasks and remain on your feet throughout most of the shift.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior warehouse, logistics, inventory, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience.\nExperience using handheld scanners, tablets, or inventory management systems.\nFamiliarity with aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or defense-related environments.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills.\nWhy Join Us?\nAt PDS Tech Commercial, we're dedicated to connecting talented professionals with opportunities that make a real impact.
