Customer Service SupervisorThis employee supervises all Customer Service functions of order entry while abiding by the procedures set forth by management.Job Responsibilities:Assists the Customer Service Supervisor in the supervision of all Customer Service PersonnelActively participates in the training of all Customer Service personnel including new hiresMonitors the flow of orders to and from the Customer Service DepartmentDeletes, correct, or re-enters patient orders as deemed necessaryMonitors phone calls to confirm the proper telephone techniques used by Customer Service PersonnelRead and analyze documents such as patient ordersComprehend pharmacy prescription terminologyEffectively communicate with co-workers and patients alikeHelp with the training of employeesCalculate figures and amounts in reference to frequency and doses dispensedApply common sense understanding to carry out oral and written instructionsFairly reprimand and verbally discipline employees in accordance to approved proceduresEducation and Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED), related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experienceComputer entry experience necessary
