Together as one team, we are Here to move.ResponsibilitiesPURPOSESupport the Divisional Safety Team’s efforts and actions towards the safety performance of the USA truck fleet and compliance with the applicable DOT laws and regulations. Promote a culture of Safety that encourages safe driving and compliance with DOT laws and regulations, a reduction in CSA Basic Scores, and a reduction in accidents.Principal AccountabilitiesReview and analyze data to identify appropriate areas for safety and awareness trainingInvestigate accidents and conduct/support root cause analysisMonitor the safety system programCoach on risk associated behaviorDevelop reports and analyze data to measure safety performanceMonitor and maintain team’s compliance with all applicable DOT laws and regulationsConduct safety performance reviews and partner with operational partners to develop driver performance improvement plansPromote a culture of Safety that encourages safe driving and compliance with DOT laws and regulationsQualificationsQualifications and Education RequirementsHighschool diploma or equivalent2+ years transportation experience, knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations1+ years experience using data driven decision makingAbility to work in a computerized environment utilizing multiple systemsPreferred SkillsBachelor’s Degree1+ years experience in Safety/Risk related field1+ years experience communicating with professional CDL driversAbility to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patienceAbility to work in a team environment to continuously improve resultsAble to promote a culture of trust and safetyWorking conditionsThis position will be required to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, and, with or without reasonable accommodation is required to:Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.Frequently operate a computer for extended periods of time and regularly operate other office productivity machines.Occasionally ascend/descend stairs and move up to 20 pounds of office objects.Frequently communicate with peers, supervisors, third parties, and other employees to exchange accurate information and answer questions.Occasionally attend meetings in buildings outside corporate office and at off-site locations with various internal conditions, and requiring travel in various external conditions.Travel domestically as necessary.
