We provide paid, specialized training in sales, product & services, safety instruction, and certification.\n\nGENERALIZED DESCRIPTION: Pest Control Technician personnel are responsible for providing pest control and mosquito\n\ntreatment services through proper product application to residential and commercial customer properties in order to prevent and\n\neliminate pest infestation and damage as well as ensure sanitation to buildings and structures.\n\nWORK SCHEDULE AND HOURS: Traditional 40-hour work week: 8 hours daily Monday through Friday. Job includes emergency\n\nstaff designation / on-call requirements with weekend work and night work as a regular part of the job.\n\nCLASSIFICATION: Exempt\n\nJob Overview:\n\nTraditional 40-hour work week visiting existing or new job sites to complete well-defined daily routes and work agendas.\nTasks include physically working to diagnose, deliver, and administer treatment and pest services both indoors and outdoors. (Note: some emergency staff designation and weekend hours are part of this position.)\nRegular communication with team members and supervisors to address concerns & questions regarding inspections, pest services, treatments, and special requests.\nAccountability for maintaining company-provided equipment.\n\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nCOMMUNICATE:\n\n Positively interact with team members, managing supervisors and CSR personnel as required to assure job instructions and daily route are well defined.\nProfessionally communicate with current and potential customers addressing concerns, questions or issues about pest control service, special, and additional treatment requests.\n Request and collect payment.\n\nCOMPLETE PROPERTY INSPECTIONS:\n\n Examine property and complete visual inspection according to company inspection protocol.\n Probe for pests and insects including mosquitos, bedbugs, rodents, etc.\n Identify insects using visual cues and/or printed and online reference and training materials.\n Write in a neat and legible fashion to document any findings after physical evaluation is completed using proper forms and documents according to state specifications and regulations and in accordance with office and work-flow procedures.\n\nCOMPLETE PEST CONTROL TREATMENTS:\n\n Secure equipment and assure supplies for job completion are on vehicle.\n Prepare job site area for treatment according to company protocol and according to manufacturer’s label and law regulations and requirements.\n Calculate figures and amounts: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
