This individual should have great customer service skills and interact accordingly with staff of varying technical knowledge.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nAudio Visual (AV) Support – provide AV support for live conferences, events, and trainings in our state-of-the-art event space. This includes assisting with audio (SQ5 digital audio mixer and wireless mics), video display to a monitor wall using Barco Clickshare or direct connection while also being able to adjust sound and video slides in real-time. Some events will require support during off-hours (mornings and early evenings). This person should also be versed in presenter tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Renewed Vision ProPresenter software.\nMeeting assistance support for audio/video issues in conference rooms throughout the main campus and provide A/V installation, guidance, training in program offices.\nEducational Technology Support Services - Provides IT support for two charter schools (Richmond and Edinburg). Students use and receive Chromebooks for educational learning. This position will also manage requests for changes to the student firewall allow/block lists, install and troubleshoot Smartboards, and student account setup in Google Chrome for Education.\nApplication Support Services – Provides support for enterprise systems such Microsoft Office365 Suite, Google Chrome for Education, Securly Classroom/Aware/Auditor, Freshservice Help Desk, SharePoint/OneDrive, RingCentral UcaaS (Unified Communications as a Service). And any other enterprise applications not listed but in use.\nDesktop Support Services - Provide desktop support (break/fix) duties to resolve issues with computers, peripherals, and networked printers for staff computers in all locations (Richmond, Edinburg, Farmville, Lynchburg, Virginia Beach, Fredericksburg, and Annadale). Most issues are resolved using remote supports tools such as TeamViewer.\nInfrastructure Support Services - work alongside our managed services provider to resolve any network issues that may arise at any of our locations.\nTravel to regional centers when remote support options have been exhausted. Other trips may include visits to the data center, stores to pick up emergency technology equipment, and to couriers for mailing hardware.\nSearch out, configure, and implement technological efficiencies and advancements.
