The successful candidate will lead the finance team for the Radar and Sensor Technologies (RST) business group based out of Ypsilanti, Michigan. We are looking for a leader with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills who is able to develop, analyze, and present financial information / models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner. If you are interested in working in fast paced, high growth company, this role is for you!This position is an on-site position located in Chantilly, VA / Ypsilanti, MIWe offer generous relocation benefits for eligible candidatesCandidates may be considered for sign on bonuses consistent with skills and experience levelsResponsibilities:Ensure accounting compliance with U.S. GAAPReview and analyze various financial statements and reportsLead monthly close process including review of journal entries, allocations, reporting to the parent company, etc.Review and analyze percentage-of-completion and shipment-based revenue modelsManagement and analysis of direct & indirect ratesReview and approve account reconciliationsSupport and interact with auditors for financial statement and government auditsUnderstand key business driversAssist project teams with financial guidance across all functions of the organizationBuild financial modelsPerform ad hoc analysis as requiredBe proficient using Deltek CostpointWork collaboratively across functions and businessesLead a team of finance professionals managing all personnel related activitiesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related finance area8+ years of experience in Accounting, Month End Closings and Financial ReportingStrong knowledge of U.S. Government Contract Accounting (FAR, DFAR, CAS) a plusAbility to present financial information to a non-financial audienceWorking knowledge of accounting and finance best practicesStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsDetail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environmentStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong Excel and modeling skillsProficiency in other Microsoft Office toolsStrong understanding and experience working with ERP systemsAbility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. Government Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with CPM ToolsExperience using OneStream software or similar toolExperience using Deltek Costpoint and related financial systems, to include Cognos ReportingCertified Public Accountant (CPA) a strong plusLocation: Ypsilanti, MIYpsilanti is artistic, genuine, and original.
