You will\nlayout touch panels, program using QSC, Crestron, ect (all the major players).\n\nReports to:\n\nDirector of Engineering\n\nEducational Requirements of position:\n\n• Degree/Experience\no 4 year degree in a relevant curriculum from an accredited college or university\n\n+ minimum of 3 years of relevant experience\no or 4-year degree in a non-relevant curriculum from an accredited college or\n\nuniversity + minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.\no Or 7 + years of relevant experience.\n\nTechnical Requirements of position:\n\n• Software\no Proficiency in QSC Q-SYS\no Proficiency in Crestron\no Proficiency in Biamp\no Proficiency in AMX\no Proficiency in Extron\no Proficiency Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel\no Proficiency in Microsoft Teams\no Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Sketch-up\n\n• General\no Mastery of Control Logic specific to the Audio, Video, and Lighting industry\no Working knowledge of construction\n\nEssential Function of the position\n\n• Self-motivated\n• Work with sales and field management to generate job specific plan for the project\n• Serve as the main point of contact for the customer for programing needs\n• Work with Pre-Construction and Field Supervision to identify and implement all\n\ncontract deliverable, quality testing, and reporting requirements.\n• Create staging, logistics, and phasing plan for project\n• Mentor and train assistant programmers and co-op/intern students\n• Request for information (RFI) process\n\nRelationship Management\n\n• Establish and maintain relationship with design team and Owner counterpart\n• Establish and maintain relationship with project subcontractors and vendors\n• Ensures positive exposure to community\n\nCorporate Culture/Evolution\n\nMental Effort\n\nConsiderable mental effort and comprehension, sustained concentration with\nfrequent interruptions\n\nPhysical Effort\n\nRequires moderate, varied physical effort and dexterity including sitting, standing,\nwalking, seeing 20/20 (with or without correction), talking, and hearing (with or\nwithout aids)\n\nWorking Conditions\n\nVaried – Small private office, cubical or shared office with public contact/fellow\nemployees.
