Resident Maintenance Supervisor
The Resident Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians and collaborating with customer to maintain Trew equipment on customer site.Duties/ResponsibilitiesFollow and enforce all company safety plansProvide superior Customer ExperienceImplement work schedulesImplement company goalsMaintain and propose department budgetsProvide or assign training for new employeesInterview and screen potential job applicantsManage and maintain inventory control systemDevelop work schedules to meet company budget and accomplish all scheduled and reactive maintenance tasksDevelop daily work tasksDevelop and maintain schedule of preventative maintenance tasksMaintain daily, weekly and monthly reporting-both written and electronicDevelop and maintain Key Performance Indicators and define goals and strategies to keep KPI’s at expected levelsDevelop CAPEX planning for mechanical, electrical and system needs to keep in top working orderMonitor tool crib and identify when tools are out of functional usage and need to be replacedRequired Skills/ AbilitiesPrevious management experienceGeneral experience with maintenance, service, and repair of material handling equipmentExperience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, service, and repair of material handling equipmentExperience with troubleshooting, service and repair of controls equipment for material handling equipmentHigh attention to detail and exceptionally well organizedAbility to complete work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner and to be conscientious about assignmentsEffective verbal and written communication skills with leadership, colleagues and individuals inside and outside of TrewAbility to exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationshipsAbility to prioritize to meet customer expectationsAble to keep calm and provide direction to team in high stress situationsMust be effective in use of software programs such as MS-Office, CMMS, etc. in use and responsible for the training of new employees on the systemAble to generate reports showing quality of work and work with customers to take corrective action if quality failures occurThorough knowledge of parts inventory location and its use Education & ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have previous management experience along with MHE maintenance and CMMS experience.Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes exposure to manufacturing machinery and potentially noisy conditionsThe temperature inside a warehouse can varySome warehouses are climate-controlled, while others may not beMust be available when needed for emergency calls and periodic overtimePhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to talk and listen. The employee will frequently lift on average 25-50lbs throughout the course of a business day.
