Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,484 per week

Overview Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Independence, Iowa. Responsibilities Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant working in an outpatient setting. You will support patients recovering from injury or illness under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Iowa PTA license or eligibility required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required by the client. Outpatient experience preferred. Candidates with experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, or post-operative rehabilitation are preferred. Demonstrated competency with common outpatient modalities and therapeutic exercise techniques; experience with electronic medical records preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and follow plan of care established by a supervising Physical Therapist. Assignment Details Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
