This role supports other engineering positions within EFCO and has no direct reports.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDrafting and Engineering (75%)\n\nDraft preliminary layouts and engineer contracted and presale projects.\n\nPrepare equipment requirements for projects.\n\nUnder guidance, supervise specific project tasks and collaborate with other key personnel to ensure project requirements are met.\n\nApply mathematics and technical skills to ensure engineering designs align with EFCO’s Quality standards and customer needs.\n\nTraining and Standards (25%)\n\nComplete all required training, including EFCO’s core value training, policies, procedures, and forming systems.\n\nLearn and apply EFCO’s drafting and engineering standards.\n\nLeverage effective oral and written communication to ensure adoption of standards while fostering Innovation in engineering practices.\n\nAdditional duties may be assigned to meet organizational goals and priorities. Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity, may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing, to meet organizational goals and priorities.\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation : Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.\n\nExperience : Up to 2 years of professional or construction experience.\n\nCertification(s) and License(s) : Must obtain FE (EIT certification or international equivalent if available) before advancing to higher engineering levels.\n\nComputer Skills : Familiarity with Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD).\n\nOther Requirements : Problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and PC proficiency are a plus. Some travel is necessary.\n\nCore Competencies\n\nCommunication : Communicates effectively verbally and in writing, producing clear, concise, and professional content and adapting style to audience and setting.\n\nMathematics : Applies basic and advanced math skills accurately in job-related functions.\n\nTechnical Skills : Proficiently uses job-specific tools, systems, and procedures to perform tasks effectively.\n\nProfessionalism : Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and a respectful approach to all work and interactions.\n\nAdaptability : Adjusts quickly and effectively to changing circumstances, priorities, and feedback.\n\nWorking Arrangement\n\nThis role will work out of our Avondale, AZ location.\n\nPhysical Demands\nMedium: Exerting 20 to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 -25 lbs force frequently and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly.
