Administers nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Clinical competence in nursing procedures and patient care based on established theory, nursing standards and practices. Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with professional staff, patients, and all facility personnel. Satisfactory completion of orientation and competencies established by nursing administration within 30 days of employmentLicensed Practical Nurse, LPN, L.P.N., Licensed Vocational Nurse, LVN, L.V.NRequirements:Education: Graduation from an accredited Nursing SchoolLicenses/Certification: Current LPN License from the District of Columbia Department of Health BLS required.Experience: Previous experience in general nursingSafety Sensitive-Designated PositionsSalary/ Wage RangeCompensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.Your next shift could change a life.
