They are seeking a Controller to own the full accounting function — from month-end close to financial integration of newly affiliated practices — reporting directly to the CFO. This is a fully remote, high-visibility role for a technically strong hands-on Controller who wants to build infrastructure, not just maintain it.Why It's Worth Your TimeFirst accounting leadership hire at a platform that is actively acquiring and integrating new practices — your fingerprints will be on the foundation.Direct reporting relationship to the CFO with real involvement in strategic planning, board materials, and M&A due diligence.Manage and develop a two-person accounting team with room to grow the function as the platform scales.What You'll OwnLead month-end and quarter-end close across the MSO and all affiliated practice entities.Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages for CFO and executive review.Manage the full AP and AR cycle, including management fee billing from the MSO to partner practices.Oversee cash flow management and daily cash positioning across entities; flag liquidity risks proactively.Support financial due diligence on prospective partner practices — review historical financials, normalize EBITDA, and document quality-of-earnings findings.Lead the financial integration of newly affiliated practices — opening balance sheets, GL consolidation, and GAAP compliance clean-up.Design and maintain the internal controls framework across all entities, including segregation of duties and approval hierarchies.Must-Haves7–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience with direct ownership of the close cycle and financial statements.Proven experience in a Controller, VP of Finance, or equivalent leadership role in a multi-entity or MSO environment.Hands-on NetSuite experience — must be able to administer, report, and manage multi-entity consolidations independently.Strong financial modeling proficiency in Excel; able to build from a blank sheet.Experience managing and mentoring an accounting team.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Prior experience in a PE-backed or M&A-active environment.Nice to HaveDirect experience in medical aesthetics, med-spa, plastic surgery, or multi-site healthcare services.Familiarity with MSO structures, management services agreements, and CPOM compliance considerations.Experience leading financial integration of acquired or affiliated entities — opening balance sheets, purchase price accounting, GL consolidation.Exposure to aesthetics practice management platforms (Nextech, Patient Now, Aesthetic Record, Boulevard, or similar).Experience with AP automation tools such as Bill.com or Stampli.
