In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, programming, start-up, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced industrial Electrical PLC and HMI machine control systems. If you excel at field-service problem solving and enjoy working directly with automated machinery and clients, apply today!\n\nResponsibilities\n\nField Execution & Service: Analyze on-site engineering challenges, diagnose root causes, execute precision repairs, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize machinery performance.\nProgramming & Controls: Program, test, configure, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) or SCADA platforms.\nClient Consultation: Work directly with customers to identify technical specifications, design precise control loops, and select optimal electrical components.\nSystem Integration: Oversee the successful installation, hardware integration, wiring verification, and system start-up of machinery on-site.\nSystem Design (Plus): Design and detail accurate electrical drawings, schematics, and control loops for newly integrated automated systems.\n\nRequirements\n\nEducation & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Technology (BSEE / BSEET) OR equivalent hands-on experience as a skilled Industrial Controls Technician.\nTechnical Mastery: Deep understanding of industrial automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and variable speed motor controls.\nCommunication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and corporate clients.\nComponent Selection: Proven ability to analyze machinery requirements, map control loops, and properly source robust electrical control components.\n\nTravel Expectations\n\nRegional Travel (60%): Localized day travel, typically within a 2-hour drive radius.
