You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to reduce friction across the customer journey and bring thoughtful experiences to life through clean, maintainable code.\nThis is a hands-on role for a developer who cares as much about how things feel as how they work.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild and maintain front-end features for production web applications with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and performance\nTranslate UX concepts—wireframes, flows, prototypes, and research insights—into high-quality, responsive interfaces\nCollaborate with designers and cross-functional partners to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility\nModernize and refactor legacy front-end code to improve maintainability, consistency, and user experience\nImplement and expand unit testing to ensure long-term quality and stability\nContribute to design discussions by providing technical input and advocating for user-centered solutions\nParticipate in problem discovery and solution design, from concept exploration through delivery\nShare knowledge and mentor less experienced team members, fostering a culture of learning and craftsmanship\nContinuously seek opportunities to improve systems, processes, and the overall user experience\n\nWhat You Bring\nRequired\nStrong proficiency in modern front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS/Sass/SCSS)\nExperience building user interfaces with attention to interaction design, accessibility, and performance\nSolid understanding of software development best practices and version control (Git)\nAbility to communicate effectively with designers, developers, and non-technical stakeholders\nA problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for building things the right way\nPreferred\n3+ years of professional experience shipping production-ready front-end or full-stack web applications\nExperience with modern front-end frameworks such as React (preferred), Angular, or Vue\nFamiliarity with .NET and relational databases (MySQL)\nExperience modernizing legacy applications or design systems\nExposure to UX research methods (usability testing, journey mapping, personas)\nExperience working within agile development environments\nFamiliarity with tools such as GitHub, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS or similar)\n\nWhat Sets You Apart\nYou care deeply about users, not just features\nYou believe great design is as much about behavior and emotion as it is about utility\nYou enjoy collaborating, giving and receiving feedback, and refining ideas together\nYou have a passion for well-designed, well-built digital experiences\nYou’re curious, adaptable, and motivated by continuous improvement\nA digital portfolio or examples of front-end work (code, live sites, or case studies) are strongly encouraged, especially those demonstrating UX thinking and interaction design.\n\nCompensation:\nCompensation Range: $75,000 – $85,000\nActual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
