With over 10,000 video systems under management worldwide – more than any other video communications service provider – Yorktel has the proven expertise and global reach to deliver enterprise-quality visual communications.\nYorktel is currently seeking an experienced Angular Web UI Developer who will assist the client complete functionality of a newly developed cloud-based public inquiry system. The developer will work with the product owner and the development team to design, develop and maintain this custom intranet web application.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nThis position regularly works in a team of individuals with varying degrees of expertise and influences internal and external customers to achieve a mutually desirable outcome. This position will trouble shoot issues, make recommendations to internal parties and customers regarding concerns or issues, and ensure resolution of any problems working closely in conjunction with assigned team. This position must regularly communicate answers to complex questions and respond to detailed inquiries about technical issues and how to resolve these issues. This position handles and is expected to protect all internal and external confidential information and must utilize discretion and judgment based on company policies and procedures.\nWork directly with clients, architects, consultants and Yorktel staff throughout the design development and delivery process with the support of the Team Lead.\nWork with product owner and managers to define and design new functionality.\nDevelop prototypes of new functionality based on the defined specification.\nWork with other developers to define back-end Api needed for the new functionality.\nDevelop new functionality.\nParticipate in code reviews.\nWork effectively and efficiently with support from other members of the development team.\nTroubleshoot and maintain existing functionality.\nFollow Yorktel procedures for archival of project documentation.\nCommunicate effectively with internal staff, client representatives, cooperative trades and subcontractors.\nBe responsible for successfully completing assignments on time and within budget.\nConform to company technical standards and practices.\nKnowledge of and adherence to Yorktel policies and procedures.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMaintain ongoing knowledge of Yorktel processes and procedures as well as individual customer process’ and procedures.\nWillingness to pursue and attend additional training related to performance of job.\nLeadership & Supervisory Responsibilities:\nNone\nRequired Skills & Abilities:\nFront-End Developer who is experienced using the following technologies:\nConfident and mastery of Angular 17 and higher\nConfident and mastery of TypeScript\nUnderstands Tailwind CSS\nKnowledge of Telerik Kendo Angular controls\nKnowledge of NGRX Redux state management\nUnderstands how to develop accessibility compliance pages\nKnowledge of NX CLI workspace management\nAny knowledge of Back-End technologies is a plus:\nSQL Server\nConfident and mastery of ASP.NET Core Web API\nEntity Framework\nFast Endpoints Library\nConfident and mastery of the C# language\nConfident and mastery of Entity Framework Core\nBasic understanding of Entra ID (Formally known as Azure AD)\nMSAL: Microsoft Authentication Library\nOAuth 2.0\nOpenID\nAzure DevOps CI/CD Automation pipeline\nTo maintain current automation, build, and release pipelines\nOther knowledge and skills desired:\nFamiliar with Agile software development methodologies\nGit source control\nProject management software such as Agility\nConfluence content management\nTableau reporting tool\nEducation & Experience:\nHave 10 years’ experience in web design and development or\nHave a Bachelor’s degree in a multi-media web design or IT related field plus 5 years’ experience in web development\nAdditional Requirements:\nMay require occasional lifting to 25 lbs.\nRequires extensive sitting, standing and walking\nDomestic travel requiring multi-night stays within and at times outside the local work area\nValid driver’s license\nValid Passport: International Travel may be required\nMust be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contracts\nMust be willing to apply for security clearances, suitability, and other related clearances to be able to work at certain customer locations.\n\nJoin us and you will enjoy an excellent salary and benefits package, including 401k and Flex 125 plans.\nWe conform to all the laws, statutes, and regulations concerning equal employment opportunities and affirmative action.
