You will be responsible for the overall accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial processes.\nAbout You:\nStrong leadership and team management capabilities.\nDetail-oriented with a strategic mindset.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\nStrong technical accounting skills.\nProblem solver with a high sense of urgency, ability to prioritize.\nThrives in a startup environment and is ready to roll up their sleeves.\nYou're excited about this opportunity because you'll:\nLead and oversee a lean but mighty accounting team (currently a team of three - accounting manager, A/R and staff accountant, and A/P and payroll staff accountant).\nBe responsible for establishing accounting policies and procedures that ensure financial statements are in compliance with GAAP accounting principles.\nOversee activities of the accounting team to drive accurate and timely reporting of financial and business metrics to the management team, board and investors on a monthly and quarterly cadence.\nOversee transactional finance activities including processing of accounts payable, accounts receivables, purchasing, inventory, expense management and payroll processing.\nAssure tax compliance (including sales & use tax) with accurate and timely completion of all corporate, statutory, income and indirect tax requirements.\nDevelop internal accounting practices and controls that maximize protection of company assets through the creation and management of policies, procedures, and workflow.\nManage relationships with investors, external auditors, and other key stakeholders.\nWe're excited that you have:\nExperience with leading accounting & control functions at fast-growing companies.\nSolid knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices.\nUnderstanding of US GAAP, particularly accounting for Software, SaaS, and Services.\nProficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Floqast, Bill.com, Expensify, Divvy, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.\nExtremely careful attention to detail.\nQualifications: education and years of experience\nMinimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience\nPublic Accounting highly preferred\nActive CPA highly preferred\nBachelor's degree in accounting or finance\nThe Perks & Culture:\nMedical, dental, & vision insurance coverage\nFlexible Spending Account\nPaid Parental Leave\n401(k)\nCompany sponsored commuter benefits\nFlexible time off policy\nCatered lunches and snacks\nMonthly wellness reimbursement\nThe estimated pay range for California candidates for this position is $200,000 - $215,000 base & $10,000 - $20,000 variable compensation.\nThis position is also eligible for Dealpath's equity plan.
