Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Plumbing Sewer and Drain Sales professional to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base through proactive outside sales efforts, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities within the plumbing, sewer, and drain industry. Your expertise in technical sales, territory management, and customer service will drive growth and strengthen our market presence. Duties Conduct outside sales activities by identifying potential clients through lead generation, cold calling, and networking within the plumbing, sewer, and drain sectors. Manage existing accounts with a focus on customer retention, upselling, and providing exceptional service to meet client needs. Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand territory coverage and increase market share. Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to educate clients on solutions tailored to their plumbing and drainage challenges. Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer information, and analyze sales data for targeted outreach. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals effectively while ensuring mutual satisfaction. Collaborate with marketing teams to support promotional campaigns, product launches, and territory-specific marketing initiatives. Conduct regular territory management activities including site visits, competitor analysis, and market trend assessments. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining strong professional relationships. Qualifications Proven experience in outside sales or business development within the plumbing, sewer, or drainage industry is highly preferred. Strong management skills with the ability to oversee territory sales operations effectively. Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for lead tracking and analysis. Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach to sales. Demonstrated ability in B2B (business-to-business) sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Knowledge of technical products related to plumbing systems, sewer solutions, or drainage equipment is advantageous. Strong communication skills for product demos, presentations, and client interactions. Ability to perform cold calling and lead generation activities confidently across diverse markets.
