The role partners closely with Equipment Engineering, Operations, and EHS teams to ensure stable manufacturing operations and continuous process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, optimize, and qualify manufacturing processes and recipes to achieve target specifications.Design and execute DOE (Design of Experiments) for process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.Monitor process performance using SPC and other process control methodologies.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process deviations and yield issues.Support daily production by resolving process-related issues and ensuring process stability.Collaborate with Equipment Engineers to maintain tool health, process capability, and qualification following maintenance or upgrades.Support installation, qualification, and ramp-up of new tools, materials, and process capabilities.Create and maintain SOPs, process documentation, qualification reports, SPC plans, and engineering records.Ensure compliance with cleanroom, safety, contamination control, and EHS requirements.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.Experience in Process Engineering within semiconductor, nanofabrication, MEMS, or advanced manufacturing environments.Hands-on experience with photolithography and etch processes in a cleanroom environment.Knowledge of SPC, DOE, process characterization, and problem-solving methodologies.Experience with semiconductor fabrication equipment and cleanroom operations.Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with processes such as RIE/ICP, EBL, PECVD, PVD, ALD, Metrology.Knowledge of process qualification, yield improvement, and semiconductor manufacturing best practices.Familiarity with vacuum-based process equipment and semiconductor process integration.Experience with advanced packaging, MEMS, or nanofabrication technologies.Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.Pay and BenefitsPay Range Minimum: $78000/annumPay Range Maximum: $141000/annumHCLTech is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law.
