Together, we advance your career.\nResponsibilities:\nTHE ROLE:\nAMD is looking for a specialized senior software engineer who is passionate about improving developer experience and releasing quality builds. Our software is open-source fist and customers consume our sfotware stack alongside with a host of open source frameworks that are leveraged to deliver inference and training workloads at scale. Currently, there's a tremendous amount of work to shift AMD to a true open-source, shift-left, development culture. You will be a member of a core team of incredibly talented industry specialists and will work with the very latest hardware and software technology. You will also be involved in SRE acitivities and lead a small team of engineers in this area.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery\nContribute to major components of our CI platforms while leading independent projects within CI\nInvolve in design and reviews for build architectures, shift-left activities and improving developer feedback loops\nLead SRE activities with a group of individuals.\nWork with stake holders across many component teams to help modernize their developer workflows\nContribute to streamlining release packaging activities\nDebugging/fix existing issues and research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work\nDevelop technical relationships with peers and partners\nDevelop code in IaC, python and bash for automation\n\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nAbility to write high quality code with a keen attention to detail\nStrong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design, version control best practices, and build systems\nExperience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs\nExperience with Windows and Linux operating system development\nExperience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers is a plus\nEffective communication and problem-solving skills\n\nPREFERRED ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent\n\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\n\n#LI-G11\n\n#LI-HYBRID\n\nQualifications:\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\n\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
