The Data Platform team supports our next big bets: Data, AI, and real-time analytics. We are a team focused on building scalable, reliable infrastructure to enable our global data community.\r\nWhat you'll do Build and maintain best-in-class data infrastructure for critical processes.\r\nDevelop features that strengthen self-service, including for ETL and orchestration.\r\nOptimise processes to use compute more efficiently and reduce cost.\r\nAutomate operations so the platform stays highly available.\r\nContribute to the design and implementation of new services.\r\nYou'll be a strong fit if you Have experience with infrastructure as code and containerisation (e.g. Terraform, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes).\r\nHave used modern query engines (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Trino).\r\nHave worked with modern data orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Dagster).\r\nAre proficient in at least one of our main languages: Python or Go.\r\nBring a pragmatic, team-first mindset.\r\nAre self-motivated, work well independently, and can balance stakeholder needs.\r\nNice to have Experience building and operating performant API layers.\r\nExperience with dbt for transform, test, and documentation workflows.\r\nQuery optimization at scale.\r\nReal-time streaming (e.g. Kafka, Flink, StarRocks, Pinot, Druid, ClickHouse).\r\nExperience with systems at petabyte scale.\r\nExperience implementing AI-enabled systems (e.g. agentic SRE, AI automation).\r\nAbout SumUp We believe in the everyday hero.
