The Quality Control Supervisor will oversee production of employees on their shift, assist in training to production employees as needed, planning and directing production work, and addressing/resolving issues within their shift.\r\nDuties and Responsibilities:\r\nPromote safety, quality & compliance among the team while maintaining good manufacturing practices at a high level within the department through the involvement of all team members.\r\nEnable a culture of Operational Excellence throughout the production line/area cross-functional team.\r\nEnsure effective two way communication within the production line/area cross-functional team.\r\nRecommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.\r\nEnsure daily production goals are met.\r\nCommunicate with Director of Operations and Production Managers to maintain workflow and notify of employee concerns.\r\nStudy production schedules and estimate completion of job timelines.\r\nDispatch personnel and equipment in all situations.\r\nManage, motivate, develop and involve production associates through coaching and performance management.\r\nFoster teamwork within the production line/area cross-functional team.\r\nEmbed the company values through demonstration & recognition of individual & team behaviors.\r\nEffective recruitment, selection, training of new employees.\r\nSchedules and assigns work within the unit to regulate workflow and meet required schedules.\r\nProvides technical assistance and supervision throughout the unit.\r\nOrders necessary supplies to perform jobs within the unit.\r\nEnsures proper maintenance of unit equipment and tools.\r\nPerforms and/or assists in special projects as assigned.\r\nEssential Knowledge and Skills:\r\nStrong interpersonal/communication skills.\r\nProblem solving and resolution aptitude.\r\nRecommend and implement improvements to processes increasing efficiency.\r\nMathematical ability sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and figure averages.\r\nAbility to communicate effectively by telephone and in group meetings and discussions.\r\nAbility to give and receive information accurately.\r\nAbility to follow directions and procedures accurately; to organize facts and figures; apply basic arithmetic.\r\nMicrosoft Office and computer skills necessary.\r\nEducation and Experience:\r\nOne to three years experience in a manufacturing environment.\r\nOne to three years supervisory experience preferred.\r\nTTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs.
