Location: Garden City, NYJob Type: Full-TimeJob DescriptionOur client is seeking a skilled and motivated Matrimonial Lawyer to join their growing legal team in Garden City, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience handling matrimonial and family law matters and be comfortable managing cases independently from inception through resolution.Responsibilities Handle matrimonial and family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and related proceedings Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, agreements, and court filings Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and depositions Conduct legal research and case analysis Communicate effectively with clients regarding case strategy and updates Manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality legal work Develop and maintain strong client relationshipsQualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in the State of New York Prior experience in matrimonial/family law preferred Strong litigation, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational and time management abilities
