This role is responsible for assessing and resolving warranty-related issues for residential and commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional with customers, and capable of performing hands-on repair work when needed. During slower periods or downtime, this role will also assist with miscellaneous field tasks, punch list items, shop organization, small maintenance projects, and other operational support duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities Visit residential and commercial job sites to assess warranty concernsIdentify causes of paint/coating failures, touch-up needs, or workmanship concernsDocument findings with notes and photosCommunicate professionally with customers regarding findings and next stepsSchedule and complete warranty repairs and touch-up work when appropriateCoordinate larger repairs with production managementMaintain organized records of warranty visits and resolutionsEnsure all work is completed safely and professionallyRepresent the company in a positive and customer-focused manner Downtime / Additional Responsibilities When warranty demand is low, the Warranty Specialist may be assigned to: Punch list and touch-up workSmall painting or repair projectsShop and equipment organizationMaterial deliveries or pickupsAssisting production teams as neededProperty maintenance and miscellaneous operational tasksSupporting field managers with project closeouts Qualifications Prior 3-5 years painting or coatings experience preferredStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsComfortable interacting directly with customersAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyBasic understanding of residential and commercial painting systemsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to lift materials and work on ladders when necessaryStrong attention to detail and workmanship quality Preferred Traits Positive attitude and team-first mentalityOrganized and dependableCalm under pressureTakes pride in workmanshipFlexible and willing to help wherever needed Compensation & Benefits $52,000/yrCompany vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable)Paid time off and holidaysOpportunities for growth within the companyConsistent full-time work with varied responsibilities Compensation: $52,000.00 per year Opportunity is Knocking Qualities like working hard, getting the job done right, and fostering respect while working as part of a team are core to the CertaPro Painters brand culture.
