Warehouse Forklift Operator (Occasional CDL Driver)

Through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), every team member shares in our achievements and growth.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, stocking shelves, taking inventory, and walking more than 10,000 steps a day on concrete floors (approx. 5 miles).Safely operate various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.Ensure quality and accuracy of inventory using bar code RF scanners.Assist with occasional deliveries within a 150-mile radius of the branch, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of goods.Provide outstanding customer service by assisting with unloading products and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections when driving, in accordance with FMCSA regulations, prioritizing safety at all times.Collaborate with the warehouse team to load trucks for the next day, optimizing efficiency and productivity.RequirementsRequirements:Previous warehouse experience is required.Experience using a forklift and RF Scanner.Ability to handle physical demands, including frequent loading and unloading, and walking approximately 10,000 steps daily.Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and a current DOT medical card is preferred but not required initially; willingness to obtain these credentials is essential.BenefitsEnjoy a 6% match on your 401k contributions and participate in our Employee-Owned Stock Program, fostering a sense of ownership and long-term financial growth.Take advantage of our competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Receive paid time off, starting with two weeks in your first year, three weeks from years two through eight, and four weeks from year nine onward.Hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (home every day).We foster a culture of employee engagement and ownership, earning us a spot among the Top Places to Work by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch for the fifth consecutive year!
