Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) consists of four primary divisions: Plans and Operations (P&O); Materiel Maintenance Division (MMD); Installation Supply & Services Division (ISSD); and the Installation Transportation Division (ITD).\r\nResponsibilitiesResponsible for the administrative/operational leadership of the FICA contract within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and contract Performance Work Statement.\r\nJob duties include but are not limited to:\r\nProvide logistical support in the areas of supply, maintenance, and transportation at FICA and surrounding locations identified as off-post support locations.\r\nResponsible for financial management, general accounting requirements and quality control plan/processes as they relate to the total logistical responsibility of the task order.\r\nResponsible for continuous process improvement (CPI) and quality assurance (including, but not limited to, tracking performance, cost outcomes, CPI awareness training).\r\nAbility to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress.\r\nAbility to gain cooperation in order to coordinate the work of others and build a cohesive team.\r\nFlexibility and capability to adjust work to operational needs and to meet emergency or changing program and/or production requirements.\r\nAbility to work with subordinate managers, delegate tasks and authority to those managers and ensure those tasks completed satisfactorily.\r\nAbility to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions.\r\nMonitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.\r\nProvides the coordination between department managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.\r\nProvide the resources to plan, organize, and manage transportation, logistics, maintenance, supply and personnel in support of the FICA LRC.\r\nResponsible for all services performed and the central point of contract (POC) for the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer Representative.\r\nMaintaining control and accountability for all Government furnished property, Government furnished material, Government Furnished Equipment and Government furnished facilities.\r\nAble to communicate clearly and directly with internal and external stakeholders, present briefs, prepare detailed operational reports including manpower, schedules, and financial.\r\nImplement a continuous Risk Management process throughout the life cycle of the Contract.\r\nSupervisory Responsibilities\r\nProvides leadership and direction to the FICA management and technical team.\r\nMonitor/provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, coaching, and disciplinary action.\r\nEnsures flow of communication from upper management to employees and vice versa.\r\nQualificationsExperience\r\nMinimum fifteen (15) years of management experience in Army logistics operations.\r\nMinimum of 5 years' experience with financial management and knowledge of Army Logistics Information Systems (LIS).\r\nMinimum of five (5) years' documented management experience managing 50+ personnel both directly and indirectly with or in support of the US military\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's Degree, required or 10 years' experience in Army logistics operations\r\nMaster's Degree, preferred.\r\nIndividual shall have written and oral communications abilities commensurate with this management role.\r\nIntermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.\r\nAbility to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.\r\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government Representative, and outside contacts.\r\nStrong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.\r\nValid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.\r\nAbility to pass a pre-employment background check.\r\nUS Citizenship is required.\r\nPhysical Demands\r\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds.\r\nMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time.\r\nMust be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.\r\nHigh noise levels are common as is the potential exposure to heat/cold, noise, dusts, mist, and/or fumes.\r\nEnvironment\r\nProject Manager is required to be on-site.\r\nWork areas consist of office and non-office settings such maintenance, supply, and transportation facilities.\r\nRequires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes safety glasses, protective-toe footwear, gloves, and hearing protection as required.\r\nSECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently have a secret clearance.
