AMPEX is a small, fast paced, growing aerospace company looking for new teammates.\nPosition Summary:\nAMPEX is looking for a highly organized and experienced Program Manager with strong attention to detail. The Program Manager is responsible for the execution and quantitative management of Programs and is the primary customer point of contact for these development efforts.\nThis is a REMOTE position + 25% or less Travel. No employer visa sponsorship is available.\nPrinciple Duties:\nManage and execute program life cycle:\no Program proposal response and bidding\no Program kickoff\no Program planning\no Financial tracking and planning\nETC forecasting using strong EVMS principles\no Program execution\n§ Monitor, control, and report progress\nProgram IMS (plan vs. actual)\n§ Provide oversight and coordination\nStaffing\nDeveloped and procured hardware\nDeveloped and procured software\n§ Perform program risk management\n§ Perform program opportunity management\no Perform program close-out\nWork with associate organizations to ensure infrastructure is in place to successfully execute programs (e.g. Facility, IT, Security).\nRequired travel to headquarters in Hayward, California, and other sites when needed\nRequirements:\nQualifications:\nPMP strongly preferred\n6+ years DoD program management experience with engineering development programs\n6+ years control account management experience in engineering development programs\n6+ years Earned Value Management experience in engineering development programs\nExperience writing and delivering CDRLs and SDRLs\nProficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point\nBS Degree or Equivalent experience\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal\nAbility to obtain a US Government security clearance\nMust be independently motivated, self-starter\nMust be U.S. Citizens - this position will be working directly on a contract with the U.S. Government, which requires all employees performing these functions be U.S. Citizens.
