Required Skills:Valid medical license in KentuckyBoard certification or eligibility in Orthopedic SurgeryExperience with general orthopedic procedures, including fractures and injuriesAbility to provide high-quality patient care in hospital and clinic settingsProficiency with EPIC EMR systemStrong clinical skills and excellent communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and within a teamNice to Have Skills:Prior locum experienceFamiliarity with hospital-based surgical proceduresAdditional certifications in advanced orthopedic techniquesPrevious experience working with multidisciplinary teams Preferred Education and Experience:Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institutionMinimum 2 years of clinical practice experienceExperience with emergency orthopedic procedures preferred Other Requirements:Successful completion of credentialing within 30 days at each facilityCurrent DEA registration and medical licenseMust meet all credentialing requirements, including proof of degrees, photo ID, and relevant certificationsWillingness to work scheduled hospital call, surgery, and clinic dutiesAbility to adhere to facility protocols and adhere to safety standardsAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, with on-call responsibilities This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $18.72, complemented by additional compensation for orientation, holidays, on-call shifts, and callback hours, aligned with detailed billing and rate caps.
