Candidates should have experience with Go or Java and/or modern web technologies such as React, Node.js, Spring, or Ruby. They should thrive in fast-paced Agile environments, contribute effectively within high-performing teams, and demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and team success.\n\nPreferred experience includes containerization technologies, security and authentication frameworks such as TLS/PKI and OAuth 2.0, messaging platforms including Kafka and RabbitMQ, and relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL. Experience implementing monitoring, observability, systems management, and centralized logging solutions is also highly desirable.\n\nSuccessful candidates will have experience designing and supporting microservices-based architecture across both on-premises and cloud-native environments. They possess strong written and verbal communication skills, work effectively within diverse and collaborative teams, and maintain a customer-focused mindset. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nPerform software design and implementation, following coding guidelines and considering system characteristics to produce optimal performance, reliability, and maintainability\n\nConduct software evaluation and testing of own software, software from other engineering staff, and third-party software\n\nProvide technical documentation for the design, implementation and testing of the software\n\nAttend design review meetings as needed to adhere to the software development procedures\n\nDocument and repair errors related to software\n\nEnhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops\n\nWork with cross-functional project teams to complete Product Engineering projects with minimal guidance\n\nDevelop cohesive interpersonal working relationships with all peers and team members\n\nWork with source code management tools (e.g. Github) and work tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nBachelor’s Degree in a S.T.E.M related field.\n\n5 years of growing responsibility in Research & Development roles, with emphasis in coding experience (Java, C, C++, C# etc.)\n\nFull stack Engineering experience, (Mix of both Front-End and Back-End)\n\nExperience with multiple database implementations (e.g. MySQL, SQL Server, non-relational databases)\n\nWillingness to travel up to 10% or less (domestic and international).\n\nPreferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\n\nExperience operating in agile development environments\n\nExperience with healthcare environments\n\nExperience with cloud-based technologies from public cloud providers (e.g. AWS, GCF, Azure).\n\nExperience with REST architecture\n\nExperience with RPC protocols\n\nExperience with Container orchestration frameworks (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift)\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi)\n\nWhy Join Us?\n\nTo find purpose in the possibilities, we need people who can see the bigger picture, who understand the human story that underpins everything we do.
