Job Summary:
As a Cook, you will be preparing food to our high-quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace. You will cook food to order by following provided recipes and uphold the Buona standard.
Responsibilities:
Learn the following positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep
Follow recipes and food preparation processes properly such as cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting and slicing
Maintain appropriate portion control and monitoring food levels on the line
Prepare quality food that meets our Buona standards
Ensure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guests
Restock food line
Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety
Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders
Handle raw and finished waste according to established procedures
Act with a sense of urgency with all guests, whether dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru
Washing cookware and utensils and cleaning equipment as assigned
Cleaning and sanitizing as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent communication and positive attitude
Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Must obtain Food Handler certificate
Must work to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 25lbs
