This role will also be responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service to our clients.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSolution Design and Architecture:\nLead the design of comprehensive FSM solutions tailored to the specific needs of clients in the utilities and energy sectors.\nDevelop detailed architectural blueprints that outline system integrations, data flows, and technical specifications.\nEnsure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.\nTechnical Leadership:\nProvide technical guidance and oversight during the implementation of FSM solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural designs and project timelines.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure cohesive and efficient project delivery.\nStay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform solution design and implementation strategies.\nClient Engagement:\nEngage with clients to understand their business processes, requirements, and challenges.\nTranslate client needs into functional and technical requirements, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.\nPresent architectural solutions and design decisions to clients, articulating the benefits and rationale behind chosen approaches.\nTeam Building and Mentorship:\nRecruit, mentor, and develop a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.\nDefine team roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations to ensure clarity and accountability.\nProvide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and knowledge of FSM solutions.\nQuality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:\nEstablish and enforce best practices for solution design, coding standards, and system integrations.\nConduct regular code and design reviews to ensure quality and adherence to architectural standards.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in solution delivery.\nEducational Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\nAdvanced degree (MBA or Master’s) is preferred.\nRequired Skills and Experience:\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in implementing Field Service Management or similar solutions, with a significant focus on the utilities and energy industries required.\nProven track record of leading complex FSM implementations, and integrating with existing technology stack (ERP, CRM, CIS, BI, Datawarehouse, etc.).\nExperience with development of Web-based business applications, using some of the following: XML, JSON, HTML 5, Angular JS, etc.\nExperience with cloud-based FSM platforms (Salesforce Field Service, Oracle Field Service, ServiceNow FSM, Click)\nFamiliarity with cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)\nExperience with planning, designing, and developing integration solutions to integrate with enterprise systems using SOAP & REST web services.\nExperience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models, including backlog management and iterative solution delivery.\nStrong understanding of utility operations, asset management, and regulatory compliance.\nDemonstrated experience in team building and leadership, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.\nExcellent project management skills, including proficiency in project planning, execution, and risk management.\nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients and stakeholders at all levels.\nTechnical proficiency in FSM software platforms, system integration, and data analytics.\nAbility to travel to client site (domestic and(or) international) as required and defined per project requirements.\nPreferred Skills:\nConsulting background with experience in client-facing roles delivering high-impact programs.\nFamiliarity with GIS integration and mobile workforce management solutions.\nKnowledge of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and Machine Learning as they apply to Field Service Management.\nProfessional certifications in solution architecture or relevant technical areas.\nThe salary range for this position is provided in good faith and is subject to variation based on geographic location, candidate experience, and market conditions.
