Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams, you'll help create technical solutions that address product and process challenges as they arise throughout the aircraft lifecycle.\nFrom drafting and model changes to supporting design improvements and failure analysis efforts, your work will help ensure the successful development and production of innovative aviation products.\nWhat You'll Do\nIn this role, you will:\nCreate and modify drafted parts, assemblies, and product structures to support manufacturing and quality objectives\nTranslate engineering concepts and design feedback into detailed physical part geometry and assembly definitions\nPerform model definition changes based on engineering requirements\nSupport product and process issue resolution in real-time production environments\nCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams to drive design improvements\nReview engineering specifications, drawings, and technical documentation\nAssist in evaluating non-conformances and identifying corrective and preventative actions\nSupport engineering laboratory and failure analysis activities\nContribute to the evaluation of emerging technologies for future aerospace applications\nDevelop and maintain requirements, specifications, and supporting technical documentation\nParticipate in cross-functional initiatives throughout the product lifecycle—from design through production and fleet support\nRequired Qualifications\nWe're looking for candidates who have:\nAssociate Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nTypically 3+ years of related aerospace design experience\nExperience working with aerospace detail parts and assembly structures\nBasic understanding of:\nProduct structure development\nAssembly design\nMetallic part machining\nEngineering drawing interpretation\nExperience using CATIA or equivalent 3D solid modeling software\nExperience with Integrated Visualization Tool (IVT)\nBasic understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) principles\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment\nThis position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
