The Senior IT Systems Engineer acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, helping translate requirements into robust technical solutions.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nDesigning and maintaining enterprise-wide infrastructure.\nManaging cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure.\nLeading system upgrades, migrations, and automation initiatives.\nMentoring junior team members and providing technical leadership.\nDeveloping disaster recovery and business continuity plans.\nProven hands-on experience in Hyper-V, PVE (Proxmox) environments:\n\nStorage Spaces Direct (S2D)\nAzure Stack HCI, SCCM VMM\nActive Directory\nDNS/DHCP\nPowerShell\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in IT related fields (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, etc.), preferred 5+ years of experience in a server/system support role\nExperience in Cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), virtualization (Hyper-V and Proxmox)\nKey qualifications include expertise in Windows/Linux environment, infrastructure automation, project leadership, and relevant certifications, like MCSE or VMware VCP\nExperienced in ITIL or equivalent IT operation framework\nExperienced in IT process improvement and documentation\nExperienced in dealing with various compliance and auditing\nExperienced in Automation/Scripting\nExperienced in Networking with strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and security principles\nExperienced in infrastructure with storage systems (SAN/NAS), firewalls, and data center management\nWith strong leadership, project management, analytical thinking, and effective communications skills\nSalary Range\n$118,000 - $130,000\nThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
