Provide accurate labor and material estimates under supervision.\r\n\r\n\r\nReview and support documentation, mechanical designs, and manufacturing process design.\r\n\r\n\r\nWrite test plans, conduct design tests, and review results.\r\n\r\n\r\nMaintain current and accurate project notebooks.\r\n\r\n\r\nCommunicate and collaborate with customers using verbal discussion, written correspondence, teleconferences, technical reports, papers, presentations, and product documentation.\r\n\r\n\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nB.S. in Mechanical Engineering\r\nEducation/experience in the following areas:\r\n\r\n- Heat transfer\r\n- Computer-aided design\r\n- Materials and mechanics\r\n- Part and assembly design\r\n\r\nProblem solving skills\r\nStrong writing, documentation, and speaking skills\r\nAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities\r\nAbility to work cooperatively in a team environment\r\nBackground check results satisfactory to SEL\r\nNegative drug test result(s)\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nEducation/experience in the following areas:\r\n\r\n- Electromechanical packaging design\r\n- Industrial manufacturing processes (welding, machining, injection molding, etc.)\r\n- SolidWorks modelling and simulation\r\n- FEA/CFD simulation using ANSYS (or other finite element analysis software)\r\n- Writing procedures and system-level test plans\r\n- Design of experiments and results data analysis/statistics\r\n\r\nLocation\r\nPullman, WA- SEL corporate office is located in Eastern Washington where you'll enjoy an unmatched quality of life.
