Communications Manager
OverviewAnnual Salary: $92,000 to $115,000Location: Mokena, ILEvery major company initiative depends on clear communication.As Communications Manager, you'll work alongside a team of communications professionals to develop and execute communications campaigns that support company priorities, strengthen coworker engagement, and reinforce Ozinga's culture.Reporting to the Communications Director, you'll join an established communications team and develop communication campaigns, create content across multiple channels, and help plan and coordinate company events and coworker engagement initiatives across the company.The OpportunityThis role combines communications strategy, execution, and collaboration.You'll work across the communication process—from developing campaigns and advising departments to creating content, coordinating coworker events, tracking communication effectiveness, and refining future communication efforts.What You'll Be DoingDevelop and execute communication strategies and campaigns aligned with company goals, priorities, values, and cultureAdvise departments on ways to engage and inform coworkersWrite, edit, and distribute content across email, intranet, digital signage, newsletters, video, mobile, and collaboration platformsTailor communication for diverse audiences, with a strong focus on frontline and non-desk coworkersExperiment with new communication formats and approachesPlan, coordinate, and support coworker engagement initiatives, including Town Halls and appreciation eventsImplement listening tools to identify communication gaps and opportunitiesEnsure communications reflect Ozinga's voice, tone, and visual identityChampion consistency in messaging and design across communication channelsDevelop and track communication KPIs related to effectiveness, reach, and engagementUse analytics to refine communication strategies and report impactYou May Be a Good Fit If You HaveEight or more years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related fieldExperience developing and executing communication campaigns that supported business objectivesExperience creating content across multiple channels and audience typesExperience communicating with frontline, field-based, or non-desk employee populationsExperience using SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and communication analytics toolsExperience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbout OzingaOzinga is a fifth-generation, family-owned company whose purpose is to make a positive impact on people, their families, and the communities we serve.
