Services include technical analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of Securiport’s software solutions, training, and technical support to the field operations.\n\nYou will help build and maintain microservices-based applications designed for threat detection, screening, and analysis. Our systems are primarily built in C# and SQL Server, with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IMB MQ as a plus. You will work on APIs, microservices, and distributed systems, contributing to a secure, scalable, and high-performance software ecosystem.\n\nYou will collaborate with senior developers, DevOps engineers, and data experts in an Agile team environment. This is a great opportunity to enhance your backend development, database, and cloud computing skills while gaining hands-on experience with industry’s best practices.\n\nEssential Functions\nExperience with full lifecycle software development - requirements, design, development, test, and delivery.\nExperience with multiple computer languages and frameworks, with strong experience in one modern enterprise language (e.g. C#).\nDemonstrated understanding of relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL).\nDemonstrated experience developing quality APIs (REST/gRPC), microservices, and data access software.\nExperience with asynchronous, distributed systems development.\nExperience with GitHub.\nExperience with modern CI/CD technologies and principles (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins).\nFirm understanding and experience with building and deploying software into Docker containers.\nDemonstrated experience on small (5-10 members) Agile teams.\nExcellent writing, communications, presentation, and design skills.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities\nExperience with C# and .NET development.\nUnderstanding of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).\nFamiliarity with microservices and APIs.\nExposure to GitHub and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).\nBasic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (a plus but not required).\nAny experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IMB MQ is a plus but not mandatory.\nUsing Cloud for deployment (e.g. AWS, Azure).\nRequired Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field required.\n8 years’ experience in related field required.\nIn lieu of degree, a total number of 12 years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above.
