Tell us if you have one.\n\nLOCATION: On site in Ashburn, VA one day a week; remote the rest.\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\n\nBuild and maintain full-stack features in Java with Angular or React front ends on a modernizing CBP platform.\n\nWrite tests for code that didn't have them; ship small, reviewed changes every sprint through GitLab and Harness.\n\nWork with Oracle / PostgreSQL / MySQL, Docker, and Kubernetes on AWS EKS day to day.\n\nPair with senior engineers on integrations with legacy systems, the best way to learn the domain.\n\nWork inside the program's SAFe / Kanban cadence and brief your work in sprint reviews with the government customer in the room.\n\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\n\nBS/BA in computer science or a related field and 3+ years of Java development; Angular or React and Python are a plus.\n\nSomeone who can explain a technical decision to a non-technical customer without either talking down or giving in.\n\nComfortable learning a new domain fast; customs and trade systems reward curiosity.\n\nPAY AND PROCESS\n\nBase salary $90,000 to $105,000, set by experience against the contract labor category.\n\nMedical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company contribution, 15 days PTO plus federal holidays.\n\nStart date is contingent on government onboarding (EOD).
