Conducts a variety of tests and verifications on electro and electromechanical equipment, while providing accuracy, productivity, and on-time delivery.Job Core Responsibilities:Performs a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical testing of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and proceduresReviews shop traveler route card or schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operationPerform a variety of tests to verify circuitry and to test the effectiveness of components in amplifiers and electronic equipment.Receive parts or units from customers and troubleshoot circuits and components using schematic drawings and prints as a verification check.Perform tests and diagnostics using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVM, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, frequency counters, and other related test equipmentSets up test equipment and tests per specificationPerforms troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the micro component levelProvides detailed written failure description with root cause analysis to production and engineeringFollows written and verbal instructions, adheres to all company guidelines, policies, and proceduresMaintains a safe and clean work environment, an acceptable safety record, and follows company safety rulesOther responsibilities as assignedRegular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.
