Barista - Manhattan Beach

We’re looking for a barista to join our café at Manhattan Village! The ideal candidate has outstanding customer service skills, a team player, and loves coffee. Employee will take orders, prepare/serve pastries & small food menu, and beverages. Compensation: Starting $18/hr + Tip Our Story Reborn Coffee was founded in 2014 in Brea, California. Responsibilities Greet customers with a smile Learn menu items and answer customer questions Prepare and serve beverages, syrups, and food items Taking and calling out orders Handling payments quickly and accurately Using and maintaining different brewing equipment Understanding of different brewing techniques Cleaning and sanitizing for front and back of house Skills Ability to multitask effectively Basic math skills for weighing, measuring, and timekeeping Strong communication and customer service skills Attention to detail Positivity, enthusiasm, and approachability Requirements Previous barista/customer service experience preferred but not required California Food Handler Card High School diploma or equivalent Ability to work weekends and holidays Reliable transportation ASL certified to serve alcohol (Wine & Beer) Benefits Flexible schedule Paid training Paid sick time Employee discounts Work Environment The surrounding area features restaurants and retail stores within a shopping mall. Work is fast-paced and requires standing and walking up to 6~8 hours at a time. Store busyness will vary depending on day, time of day, and season. The morning and lunch rush will require expeditious and attentive service.
