Company Overview:At That Science Fairy (DBA) we apply detail thinking to meaningful STEM experiences for children ages 2 to 8 in groups of 2 to 24 at their childcare setting. Organize curriculum as we expand to a satellite location. Validate our systems and materials, including hands-on STEM activity delivery, and guiding our emerging business model to rise up new Science Fairys.Responsibilities:Arrive to local childcares with packed Project materials to coach STEM through 4 to 6 hands-on activities.Run Science Fairy Project curriculum, successfully engaging young learners to love STEM concepts and have confidence.In conjunction with the Owner, be an astute shopper to complete the inventory of the Project material items needed.Manage inventory of materials, both physically and digitally.Track time spent on different tasks, with 10 hours per week expected.Provide feedback about the experience of running a Science Fairy satellite location.Maintain professionalism towards the brand and customers (provided by Owner).Qualifications:- Experience working with children in an educational capacity.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Willingness to ask for clarification and provide feedback.- Excellent systems organization and follow through.- Reliably arrive onsite, to customers, carrying tubs of materials weighing up to 20 pounds.- Pass a background check and legal to work in the US.Nice to Haves:Coursework in Early Childhood Education or related fields.Evidence of interest in STEM subjects.Experience working with entrepreneurs.Benefits:Make your own schedule.Learn business and technology skills in a supportive environment.Earn $16-18 per hour tracked.Bonuses for running more bookings.Shared software subscriptions.Work with the sweetest clients in the world, kids!
