This includes understanding the effects of heat treatment and manufacturing processing on properties. Execution and validation of design casting requirements at existing and new suppliers.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:\nReview and execute approval of special manufacturing processes that have casting or related metallurgical requirements\nCast gas turbine material knowledge: Stainless steel, nickel, and cobalt alloys\nIdentifying heat treatment requirements\nVerify appropriate casting manufacturing processes and sequences will produce parts that meet metallurgical requirements.
