Bilingual Production Night Shift Supervisor

Principal Objective Of PositionThe Bilingual Supervisor oversees the workflow in their department on the night shift. They are responsible for coaching, resolving issues, and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.Essential FunctionsThe following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.Communicate vital information in front of large groups Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versaSet goals for performance and deadlines in way that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates Ensure 5S standards are established and being followed Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks Keep all employees safe and trained to be compliant with safety proceduresMonitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching Receive complaints and resolve problems Prepare and submit performance reports Give input on rewards and promotions based on performance Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises ResponsibilitiesOther Responsibilities: Work towards continuous improvement through lean practicesHire and train new employeesMaintain timekeeping and personnel recordsOther duties as assignedEducation And Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in business administration, management or related fields, preferredThree or more years of supervision or leadership experience Bilingual - English & Spanish RequiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Must work the overnight shift Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills Solid understanding of OEE fundamentals Strong ability to handle employee safety and safety concerns Strong forward-thinking abilities Ability to adapt to constant changing situations Thorough and accurate reporting mindset Strong communication skills Strong organizational and follow-up skills Excellent professional presence and work ethicExcellent leadership skills and qualities Preferred QualificationsPreferred Qualifications: Work Environment: This position is typically located in a warehouse setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
