You and other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this role you will work on the client's behalf to edit client specifications, review and provide feedback/comments on designs, specs, and drawings. As the electrical engineering representative on a multi-discipline design team, your primary duties will be to review design packages focused on Electrical / Instrumentation & Controls deliverables prepared by others.\nYour responsibilities will include engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage controls and communications systems in some of the most complex industrial facilities on the planet.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university\nAt least 10 years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems\nWorking knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications\nAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nStrong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership experience\nCurrent Professional Engineer (PE) licensure with ability to obtain in State of Idaho.\nSolid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) , and IEEE standards\nBe well versed in methods to perform voltage drop, arc flash, short circuit current, and load flow calculations, using SKM PTW, EasyPower or similar modeling software.\nBe well versed in engineering practices and procedures for specifications and selection of all types of electrical equipment and hardware.\nExperience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications\nField experience interacting with subcontractors and construction personnel\nAbility to perform site punch walk services.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAt least 2 years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms\nWorking knowledge of Instrumentation & Controls design-related deliverables such as P&IDs, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, control narratives, etc.\nExperience with Instrument specification\nExperience with network design, layout and backbone.\nExperience with control panel design, including UL508A requirements.\nExperience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications\nField experience interacting with subcontractors and construction personnel\nWorking knowledge of Revit or BIM software\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD software\nStrong communication skills both verbal and written\nForward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas\nDisplayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base\nAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams\nPassionate about buildings and construction\nPhysical Requirements:\nPosition requires visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction.
