Performs total vehicle testing as well as provides documented feedback. Always represents Kett in a professional manner.\r\nEssential Functions:\r\nDrive and evaluate advanced tractor/trailers and other vehicles for testing purposes.\r\nDrive approved durability schedules in accordance with all established procedures.\r\nPrepare accurate, clear and concise Drivers Reports on a daily basis\r\nConduct pre and post trip safety inspections as required.\r\nPerform other related driving / vehicle preparation work as required. Such work includes vehicle shuttling, detailing, etc.\r\nAssists with clerical work or other jobs as required by Supervision.\r\nFollow policies and procedures of both Kett Engineering and customer.\r\nAct as a mentor to other drivers if assigned to do so.\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\nContribute to a positive work environment and promote overall team effort.\r\nFocus on meeting and exceeding Kett and customer expectations.\r\nResponsibilities involve a definite degree of skill, accuracy and cooperation.\r\nPossess a thorough understanding of Kett and customer policies and procedures and Kett's Vision and Values.\r\nAbility to complete concise and accurate documentation.\r\nPromote safety awareness and assure compliance with all safety practices.\r\nCommunication skills, verbal and written, are a priority.\r\nJob Requirements:\r\nEducation - High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Skills/Experience - Must have CDL A and DOT Card and at least 3 years tractor trailer experience. Must have a clean driving history for at least the past 3 years. No at-fault accidents, DUIs, DWIs. Must have Manual Transmission Experience. Must be tech savvy. Attention to detail with the ability to communicate findings both verbally and in writing. Able to contribute in a team environment. Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Job requires sitting, standing, and bending for approximately 8-10 hours on a daily basis. Must be flexible and available to work overtime, and hours outside of normal demands, including weekends and Holidays.
