The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with our architects, engineers, and clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects.\r\nAt EAPC, our team of architects, engineers, interior designers, construction managers, and other professionals work together to create stunning structures and designs for optimum performance.\r\nResponsibilities include:Provide electrical design, detailing, and calculations as required for all phases of the design of new buildings and structures as well as additions to and renovations of existing buildings and structures\r\nCoordinate electrical designs with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, structural, etc.\r\nEdit and write electrical specifications\r\nPerform electrical investigations and feasibility studies including the writing of reports and providing cost estimates when required\r\nProvide mentorship/training to EIT-level staff\r\nProvide direction to BIM Modelers as required to complete electrical drawings\r\nPerform construction administration activities such as the review of material shop drawings, responding to contractor RFIs and construction questions, construction site visits, etc.\r\nPerform site visits as required to field verify existing conditions, dimensions, elevations, etc.\r\nAssist project managers in the development of internal design budgets and schedules as required\r\nAssist the department manager in determining anticipated project scope, deliverables, fees, etc. as required to complete proposals to provide electrical engineering services to external clients\r\nAssist with and negotiate contracts with customers/clients\r\nAssist in the development of engineering standards, policies, and procedures\r\nQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering\r\n8+ years experience in a firm or consulting environment preferred\r\nRegistration as a Professional Engineer\r\nProject management and business development understanding\r\nExperience in 3D modeling, visualization, and modeling software; REVIT, SKM and AutoCAD strongly preferred\r\nWorking knowledge of engineering systems\r\nEffective verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills\r\nProblem-solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn\r\nCollaborative and professional work ethic\r\nAbility to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects\r\nWillingness to travel as required to meet project and corporate demands\r\nAbility to understand and communicate with professionals of other disciplines\r\nValid driver's license\r\nEligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship\r\nThe position will report directly to the Electrical Engineering Department Lead and will work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline, in-house team of engineers, architects, and drafting technicians.\r\nWage Range: $105,000-$125,000/yr. The listed pay range represents the company's good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base rate of pay for this position at the time of the posting.
