Lead Corporate Payroll Practitioner Remote PositionJob Summary:Provides expertise in payroll processing and knowledge of HRIS technologies, while leading the payroll department to ensure operations are efficient, accurate and compliant.Duties/Responsibilities:Oversee and process hire to retire payroll including data collection, entry, calculation, auditing and distribution trackingCrosstrain, mentor and schedule the payroll team to enhance their skills and abilitiesCollaborate with HR team to ensure accurate employee data management within HRISPrepare and provide payroll reports for internal stakeholders and support year-end processing to include W-2 system calculationsConduct regular audits of payroll processes and systems to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measuresResolve payroll questions, problems, and adjustmentsSupport Time & Attendance system to oversee reporting, security settings and business structure build outs in ADP Workforce ManagerAct as liaison with the payroll processing company and time and attendance provider for problem resolution and error correctionsPerform annual reconciliation of vacation for payout/rolloverProcess garnishment and support ordersProcess changes and provide back up on HRIS side of ADP Workforce ManagerProcess employment, pay profile changes and updates in ADP Workforce now as requiredAudit and correct EDA errors in ADP workforce nowProvide training on HRIS functionalities and payroll processes to new staff and stakeholdersCollaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive employee data managementCreate and document end-to-end payroll processing duties and data flowOversee payroll systems to ensure compliance, configuration and efficient functionalityAssist Corporate Payroll Manager with special projects and be back up if neededRecommend new approaches and procedures to impact continuous improvementSuccessfully produce results under tight timelines meeting high-level quality standardsKeep informed about regulatory changesFollow all required safety procedures such as: PPEs, Ergonomics, etc. Perform job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employeesAssist and support finance with inquiries and projectsBasic Qualifications:HS Diploma5-10 years' experience in Payroll fieldExcellent organizational skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityStrong leadership skills with a focus on fostering development and collaborationDemonstrated computer literacy and proficiency with MS Excel and WordStrong interpersonal skillsA sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure handling multiple tasks and deadlines at one timeExcellent follow-up skills in a fast-paced environmentStrong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and in writing with ability to convey complex concepts clearlyAbility to work in a cross-functional environment building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of the organizationStrong payroll expertise/experience with payroll processing and report writing such as ADPHigh level of accuracy in payroll administration and data managementDesired Skills and AbilitiesAssociate Degree in AccountingFPC/CPP (Certified Payroll Professional)Experience with ADP Workforce Now and ADP Workforce ManagerSupervisory experiencePhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift 5 pounds at timesTravel periodically to office if neededCJK Group is an Equal Opportunity employer.
